Receptionist
The role of receptionist is a very demanding role, being the first line of contact with all practice patients from the very ill to the routine surgery visits.
They also handle all telephone calls, enquiries and appointments.
They also have to deal with the numerous contacts with the PCRS, GMS, Local HSE offices, Dept of Social Welfare, organise and scan all hospital reports, send and organise all laboratory specimens and assimilate subsequent reports in our computer system.
Our practice receptionists are noted for their friendliness, efficiency and helpfulness and they are; Eileen Palmer (full-time), and Liz Hynes (part-time).
